I have been a resident of Vermont since 2001 and have called East Dover home for the past 20 years with my husband Gary, our dog Daisy and cat Felix. We also enjoy spending time with our 5 grandchildren! I have always had a passion for photography and there is no better place to explore this passion than in New England.
I started my own photography business called Moments in Time Photographs back in 2013 and operate it on a part time basis while maintaining my full- time job with the Town of Dover as Assistant Town Clerk & Office Manager. I believe I have a great working knowledge of the Deerfield Valley. I created a website and Facebook page to promote my images (please see the links above) and participate in several arts & crafts fairs throughout the year as well as ongoing gallery exhibits. I am always excited when someone wants to take one of my photos home!
In 2015, I helped organize the 1st Dover Holiday Craft Fair, held every December (except for 2020) and it has grown steadily since then. This year we will celebrate our 8th year. I have designed advertising and literature to promote this event annually. It is rewarding to gather our amazing local artists and crafters together and involve our community in celebrating all that our area has to offer. I also previously participated in Art on the Mountain gallery shows.
My photographic focus is on the Vermont countryside, Maine coastline and the flora, wildlife, & seascapes that abound in this beautiful part of the USA. With my images, I create calendars, note cards, & magnets as well as framed and matted prints in varying sizes. I am also blessed to be able to feature my images in Dover’s annual Town Report, Facebook page and website.
I am excited to be a board member for the I Love Art space endeavor! Our community has a wealth of creative artists and crafters as well as those who appreciate the arts, both young and old. Our vision to bring these two groups together is essential to its success. By offering workshops, gallery space & exhibits along with artist studio space, we hope to foster the love of arts throughout the Deerfield Valley.
