Art programs are a vital portal for cross-cultural participation connecting people to relevant issues, community, one another, and our great Earth. We are excited to share our vision with you and how your support will make this possible. 

Imagine a space that you will be able to go and tap into the creative nature that lies within all of us. This is what I Love Art Space is all about. Through workshops, art shows, gallery openings, and art festivals we will fulfill our mission of connecting the community to the arts through education, creative spaces, and artistic opportunities. 

I Love Art Space Announces Farewell to Dover Gallery Location While Looking Ahead to an Exciting New Chapter

I Love Art Space (ILAS) announces that its gallery location at 171 VT Route 100 in Dover will close at 8:00 PM on Saturday, August 1, 2026, marking the end of one chapter and the beginning of an exciting reinvention of the organization.

Since opening its doors 2 years ago, I Love Art Space has become a vibrant hub for creativity, community connection, and artistic expression in Southern Vermont. As well as hosting some of the Valley’s most talented artists and craftspeople.  While the physical gallery space is closing, the organization’s mission remains stronger than ever.

“This is not an ending—it’s a transformation,” said ILAS leadership. “We are reinventing ourselves so we can continue to serve our community in new and meaningful ways.”

Community members are encouraged to watch for future announcements, including the possibility of an I Love Art Space pop-up shop and new programming opportunities throughout the region.

I Love Art Space will continue many of its beloved programs and partnerships, including:

Free children’s programming at the Dover School

Collaborative art programs with community participants

Potential workshops and creative programs at Butterfield Commons and other SASH/SAGE participant locations

Workshops and classes hosted at venues throughout the area

I Love Art Space’s signature Dover Holiday Craft Fair will continue and is scheduled for Saturday, December 12. Vendor registration is now open.  https://iloveartspace.com/art-and-craft-fairs/

The public is invited to celebrate the gallery’s legacy during the 12×12 Community Art Auction VIP Viewing Party on Saturday, August 1. The evening will also serve as a farewell celebration for the space at 171 VT Route 100. Tickets available at:  https://iloveartspace.com/12-x-12-community-art-auction

Guests can enjoy tasty bites, a cash bar, and the opportunity to place final bids on their favorite 12X12 works of art before the auction closes as well as the resident artists’ work. . The event offers a chance to celebrate the artists, volunteers, supporters, and community members who have made I Love Art Space such a special place. Community support remains essential as ILAS enters its next phase.

Our Offerings

I Love Art Space will be available for creative workshops organized by community artists and also by the organization.  There will be free family creative days and other children’s programming. 

We also offer private parties, birthday parties, or how about dinner at the gallery?

We will eventually have teen art mentorships to help our local art students understand how to complete their art, prepare it and bring it to show and sell it.  There will be accessible programs for those in our community are challenged, including senior programming.
