Carolina Alvarado is a multidisciplinary visual artist known for her bold, purpose-driven work. She specializes in customized creative commissions, including digital art, marketing materials, portraits, paintings, and art workshops. Her artwork has been exhibited in venues such as Leopard Frog Gallery, The Eluise Gallery, Easthampton City Arts Gallery, and Green Mountain Squeeze, and she is a recipient of the Guggenheim Museum of Art’s Learning Through Art Grant.
As the Creative Director at Capacity Building & Policy Experts, LLC, Carolina merges visual storytelling with strategic communication, developing digital artwork and marketing content that amplifies meaningful narratives. Beyond her personal practice, she is deeply committed to arts education and community engagement. She offers local workshops and creative art classes in West Dover and Wilmington, Vermont, fostering artistic exploration for all ages. She also teaches visual arts at Vermont Academy at Mount Snow, inspiring young artists to cultivate their creative voices.
Carolina holds an MFA from Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University, and a BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art. Her work has been featured in publications such as Divergents Magazine, reflecting her dedication to pushing creative boundaries and advocating for inclusivity through art.
