Due to the low number of artists applying for jury, the board of directors has decided to postpone the return of Art on the Mountain until August, 2025. We will send out a new call for artists early in 2025 when everyone is already starting to make their summer plans.
The once long running gallery show organized by the Deerfield Valley Health Care Volunteers was an annual favorite for more than 40 years in the Deerfield Valley Area. At it’s height it was a two week, three weekend show with high caliper artists and craft people. It took months of preparation and many volunteers. It was definitely the creative highlight of the summer season in the area.
I Love Art Space is bringing it back. It will be a much smaller show, but with the same high standards of the original. The 2024 Art on the Mountain will be held August 2, 3 and 4 at 171 Vermont Route 100N, West Dover, VT 05356. There will be more two dimensional artists, sculptural and fiber artists and jewelry, pottery and more.
The show will open with a VIP party on August 2 from 5.30 – 8.30. This will be a ‘by invitation’ event and will enable our guests to preview the beautiful work and partake of delicious appetizers, music and a cash bar. It will be the summer event not to miss. Our opening hours will be 9.30 am – 4.30 pm on August 3 and 10 am – 4 pm on August 4.
